The Business Operations team is seeking someone who believes fintech is a powerful tool for advancing financial well-being. You must be passionate in continuous improvement and problem-solving. You will be part of our team that monitors business rules across the platform. This is an opportunity to go broad and deep in the business. This is a cross-functional role that requires collaboration with stakeholders and getting into the weeds to get the job done.

Problems You Will Solve

• Independently develop controls dashboard to identify process gaps and ensure that business rules are executing as expected across the platform
• Collaborate with Product and other stakeholders to ensure that issues identified are resolved within SLAs
• Identify and communicate blockers/opportunities for improvement to operational workflows
• Support a data-driven culture by executing adhoc analysis and recommend technical and procedural improvements
• Recommend solutions to process failings, contribute to process and organizational problem-solving and continuous improvement driven by data insights
• Develop and maintain documentation of Controls policies and procedures to drive adoption and adherence across Prosper
• Be a process SME by developing a deep understanding of the process workflow in the platform

About You

• Expert SQL proficiency; Moderate Python
• Strong analytical skills; must enjoy doing root cause analysis
• Passion for solving operational problems, especially corner cases
• Highly attentive to detail, extremely thorough and accurate
• Strong communication skills: ability to collaborate independently with partners
• Have a high degree of comfort with ambiguity, and a knack for quickly ramping on new skills/functions
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree
