Senior Business Intelligence Developer
Job Description
The CSO Operations Insights team is responsible for the creation of new analytics, visualizations, and data strategies that help drive the CSO Operations organization and provide meaningful insights to other platforms, such as Cerner Advance, Salesforce, and Cerner Lights on Network (LON).
The Insights team employs an agile development approach. Part of this methodology includes quickly iterating to get to a minimum viable product that validates or invalidates a stated hypothesis. Being comfortable with ambiguity and capable of quickly testing assumptions is central to the role.
In addition to having an ability to tackle ambiguous business problems, as a team we value a broad set of skills. Specific examples include data acquisition (CCL, SQL, SOQL, SAQL, and HiveSQL), data visualization (Excel, Tableau reporting, Power BI, and D3), data manipulation (Python and RegEx), workflow development (MVEL and Javascript), data analysis including basic statistics, and familiarity with Cerner Millennium and clinical workflows.
The Insights team is looking for a bright and inquisitive new team member with a strong grounding in Cerner's solutions and firm understanding of data architecture.
