In order to advance our mission to – “Enable Personalized Care for Every Cancer Patient,” we are seeking candidates for the following role:

BI Analyst, Real-World Data (RWD)

Job Summary:

As a BI Analyst for Navigating Cancer, you possess a strong curiosity for discovering insights and applications for novel healthcare data assets. You discover these insights by interfacing with internal and external stakeholders (technical, clinical, and business leaders) to understand the problems we are trying to solve. You identify opportunities and contribute solutions to meet those needs. You promote progress through collaborative teamwork in our dynamic environment. You deliver novel analytics solutions, the highest levels of customer service, and product improvements. You communicate with clarity and honesty. You take initiative and assume ownership of results.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as the data SME for business stakeholders, including product management, business development and operations
  • Gather, analyze, and translate requirements in the Analytics area – recommend an existing solution, develop a new solution, or synthesize requirements for the engineering team
  • Provide expert advice in the use and interpretation of data to business partners
  • Develop analyses and visualizations to uncover key insights and trends
  • Eliminate redundancy in existing analyses
  • Challenge everyone to understand their requirements and reach the best solutions, near term and long term.
  • Partner with product and application engineering to ensure upstream data capture is designed in a way so that efficient analyses can be developed
  • Implement process improvements that impact your own work and the work of others

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Science, Health Care administration, Statistics, Data Science or related area
  • Familiarity with medical terminologies (RXNORM, LOINC, SNOMED, ICD-10, CPT, etc)
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, statistics, and math skills
  • Practical SQL skills
  • Professional experience with Python
  • Familiarity with dashboard tools such as Tableau
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Strong work ethic and enthusiasm to get things done
  • Creative thinking, an eye for detail, and the ability to work independently are important prerequisites for this job

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (CCDs, HL7, FHIR, etc)
  • 1+ years of proven experience in healthcare
  • Experience working in a research environment

Base pay range:

$102,000/yr - $140,000/yr + 10% Corporate Bonus

This position is full time 100% remote with the option to come into the Seattle corporate office on a voluntary basis for local employees.
