The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will act as the Analytical expert within the Digital Analytics team to perform analysis, manipulation, and visualization/reporting of data for variety of analytics solutions. This includes working with vast amounts of data from varied sources to help discover insights that lead to more effective decisions across Optum Digital. You will help heal the health care system via modern digital platform as you work with an elite team to solve tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis
• Query structured and unstructured data from multiple modern data platforms such as Hadoop and Cloud
• Develops BI and analytics semantic data layers
• Develop interactive Tableau dashboards
• Provide data analysis to support business strategies
• Collaborate with various business partners to ensure data consistency and accuracy
• Work with peers to troubleshoot errors and data inconsistencies and coordinates resolutions to issues
• Recommends and implements new or enhanced reporting methods and procedures to improve report content
• Fosters a learning environment and promotes knowledge sharing

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience with decision support, data analysis, and/or business analytics
• 5+ years of experience with using SQL to write queries, create tables and views
• 3+ years of experience with Tableau and/or other BI Tools such as PowerBI, MicroStrategy

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Data Analytics or related field
• Health Care Experience
• Hadoop and/or Cloud Experience

Connecticut Residents Only: The salary range for Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600.
