Senior Business Intelligence Analyst
The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for building critical information resources from across the enterprise into appropriate levels of reporting tailored to the identified audience. This function drives and analyzes data, presenting actionable information to help executives, managers, and other internal or external customers make informed business decisions.
Position reports to the Strategy & Operations Development Manager and will join a team of individuals with a focus on tackling complex issues, solving time-sensitive problems, and consistently delivering robust solutions to the organization.
This individual will participate with metrics standardization, centralized business intelligence requirements gathering, process-improvement and solutions engineering. This role requires a forward thinking and technology-driven individual, focused on delivering solutions that help reduce time to value.
Position Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain dashboards in Tableau and Tableau CRM
  • Ensure the accuracy of reported information and work with data engineers in a cycle of continuous improvement of data quality
  • Perform data analysis and present actionable information to assist executives, managers and customers with the goal of making informed business decisions
  • Draw inferences from process details and link these inferences to the big picture by considering business objectives across the organization and data-driven KPI's
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with multiple business areas and stakeholders
  • Publish, analyze and improve management information dashboards, operational business metrics and key performance indicators
  • Develop innovative approaches to improving efficiencies in current data and understanding how internal or external data could be applied to enhance current and future processes

Requirements
Required Experience, Skills and Knowledge

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Information Systems, or similar. Will also consider other degrees with relevant experience
  • Relevant experience in complex Business Intelligence analysis in an enterprise environment
  • 3+ years of experience administering and building visualizations in Tableau
  • 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence/Analytics
  • Solid experience with Tableau Prep, Tableau security/row-level security and dashboard performance tuning
  • Passion for visualization, reporting, and documentation
  • Knowledge of data warehouse concepts, ETL, etc
  • Strong attention to details, organized
  • Demonstrable experience in interpreting and generating insights from the data
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Candidates should possess the ability to take initiative, work independently, and exercise appropriate business judgment
  • API development and/or scripting language knowledge plus
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background and drug screen in accordance with applicable laws


Preferred Experience, Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts and analytics-driven findings to business people and to explain business processes, concepts, challenges, and issues to technical resources
  • Ability to work in a matrix management structure, managing complex relationships and juggling competing internal and external priorities
  • Tableau Certifications a plus (Tableau Desktop: Certified Professional, Certified Associate, Specialist)


Colorado* Candidates :
Minimum salary of $100,000 + bonus + commissions + stock options + benefits. Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
