The Senior Business Analytics Manager plays a key role in Conversica’s strategic decision making and alignment of sales, operating and financial goals across a broad set of stakeholders. The ideal candidate must be driven, passionately curious, analytical, creative, and versatile. A superior candidate will not only be able to provide the numbers, they will have a view and have a recommendation for action that will add corporate or strategic value. This is someone who thrives in a fast-paced growth environment and enjoys partnering with and advising executives. This position will report to the Director of Revenue Ops, with frequent exposure to C-suite executives.

The successful candidate will be a resourceful, self-motivated individual with a desire to learn and make a difference.

Responsibilities

  • Trusted advisor to Sales, Marketing and Customer Success, and other vital functions that face the customer or touch the Product: Business Development, Product and Engineering
  • Derive business model & actionable insights to design and drive Go-To-Market strategies and planning
  • Oversee Sales, Marketing and Customer Success key performance dashboards, improve forecasting accuracy and identify growth acceleration levers
  • Establish monthly operational dashboards and support Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs)
  • Perform detailed analytics to fulfill ad hoc requests and strategic projects for the executive team 
  • Systematize, automate, and simplify processes across the customer journey for increased efficiency, and self-service
  • Discover, devise, and implement action plans to drive strategic objectives and create corporate value
  • Identify, develop, and tap into data sources to help measure and improve data accuracy, consistency, and standardization
  • Collaborate across various cross-functional groups and levels in the organization and drive valuable change improvements in data, process, and information systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Business, Math or Science concentration preferred
  • 6-8 years prior experience in Business, Sales & Marketing analytics or similar role within a fast-paced SaaS company
  • Knowledge of SaaS / subscription-based business models and associated KPIs (ARR, Expansion & Downsell, Retention and Renewal Rates, etc.)
  • Strong business acumen and judgement, analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to structure solutions to complex problems
  • Outstanding communication skills, ability to guide business leaders toward key business questions for analysis and how to gather and interpret data
  • Data savvy – understand how to interrogate data, skeptical of data and always look for improvements
  • Superior organizational and attention-to-detail skills, with an appreciation for process to ensure operational integrity and repeatability
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, including modelling, required
  • Salesforce Reporting / Dashboard experience required
  • Strong data warehouse and BI skills, Looker preferred
  • Knowledge of statistical principals and data base structure and manipulation required
  • Curiosity to learn, driven to win, humble to help
