Job Description
This Senior Business Analyst position will be a part of the Medicaid IT Governance and Compliance department. The role requires a healthcare and technical background with the ability to understand and help determine conceptual solutions. This role will be highly engaged in discovery and analysis phase for Medicaid IT Projects. Additional responsibilities will include assisting in Release Management (pre- and post-deployment) governance activities to ensure that required deliverables and processes are followed. The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience working with Business and IT stakeholders and ability to articulate possible business solution approaches and feasibility analysis of alternatives is critical for this role. No visa sponsorship will be provided for this role.• Healthcare knowledge and experience is a must. Preferably in Government Programs or Medicaid• Leads Business and PMO meetings to gather information about projects and programs and to identify impacted domains• Consistently performs analysis and translates business needs to create high-quality Business Needs and Cost Proposal documentation within specified time frames to solve most complex problems considering all impacted components from an end-to-end perspective• Ensures current & proposed business process flows are complete and accurate as needed to support the Project Intake Phase• Works across the domains to partner with delivery leadership to help identify scope and impact of projects within a domain or cross domain• Ensures adherence, in partnership with delivery team leadership to project cost proposal for the domains• Adheres to Enterprise Delivery Framework (EDF) and AGILE methodology by utilizing internal procedures and tools to identify areas for methodology improvement and best practices• Fulfill duties for Project Creation within the Clarity PPM tool• Cultivates and expands collaborative partnerships with business and IT management to facilitate and optimize delivery of projects• Running and distributing Release Mgmt reports, analyzing the data and following up with project delivery teams on any gaps• Miscellaneous assignments at times related to Financial Analysis and Audit/Compliance
Required Qualifications
Healthcare knowledge and experience is a must. Preferably in Government Programs or Medicaid
Must have prior business analysis experience and be well-experienced with various project delivery methodologies
