Summary
The role will be responsible for supporting the deployment of enhancements to the various IT platforms the compliance organisation uses to support the management of our product approvals and individual and corporate licences. This support will include engagement with various business stakeholders within and outside compliance. The support of the lifecycle for deployment of enhancements will include requirements gathering, process mapping, workshop planning and execution, requirements documentation and grooming of stories, design and execution of test scripts.
The role will also be the initial "go to" person for questions around systems operation, in the event users need guidance on how the systems work, individually and together, and how a transaction should be processed. Documenting bugs or defects identified as an outcome of investigation into a user query, in applicable software development management tools, will be required.
The role will ideally be based in North America, but will be required to support the business during north America business hours. Aristocrat is committed to a hybrid and flexible work model; applicants interested in remote working and flexible work are encouraged to apply.
What You'll Do

  • Provide project and technical insight, for users, serving as initial "go to" person for expert assistance for technology systems.
  • Define and set processes across the compliance team with regard to test strategies to support UAT for planned enhancements.
  • Manage and respond to queries from within compliance and from other users interacting with compliance systems. This includes identifying and resolving test problems with engineering, compliance and regulatory agencies.
  • Support software engineering activities such as analyzing, designing, coding, writing and running unit tests and assisting with debugging software programs.
  • Develop metrics for process measurement and assist in evolution of processing of this data in Signavio.
  • Assist in release management including risk assessment and contingency planning.
  • Support projects by participating in and/or running workshops.
  • Interact with various stakeholder from across the business, attend meetings and present ideas, solutions.


What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 8 - 10 years of hands-on experience in finding solutions to process/technical issues.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or its equivalent, would be beneficial.
  • Experience with software development lifecycles and multiple releases of enterprise-class software products.
  • Ability to analyze information and use logic to perform task efficiently, within deadlines.
  • Possesses good problem-solving skills to address work-related issues and problems.
  • Possesses good project management skills and organizational skills.
  • Proven experience in working with and within cross functional business teams, and software delivery teams.
  • Ability to effectively communicate across cross-functional teams and technical and business engagement managers.
  • Ability to prepare, present and clearly communicate solutions to both technical and business audiences.
  • Possesses a high level of personal and professional accountability and be able to enlist the cooperation of peer groups involved in common business goals and objectives.
  • Have the ability to meet changing demands and to adapt to frequently changing priorities.
  • Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills along with excellent customer service skills.
