JOB SUMMARY: This role will assist in the execution of Domestic and International Business Development activities for UPR Corporate Finance. Specific focus will be on complex financial modeling, decision support and general financial analysis, agreement and contract negotiation support processes, deal-term analysis, and research.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop sophisticated financial analyses and models, including deal term analyses and ROI analyses, to evaluate the impacts of potential new ventures, partnerships, leases, licenses, debt financing, and real estate transactions.
• Develop business plans for new business opportunities, including project workplans, proforma P&Ls, timelines/milestones
• Conduct research of complex business topics, industry and economic trends, and business transactions as necessary.
• Conduct detailed analysis of monthly financial reports as provided by various JV partners, review and analyze proposed capital projects, evaluate proposed changes to business operations. Conduct ad hoc projects as required to support business analysis process.
• Preparation of presentations to effectively communicate analyses, findings, and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Finance, Business, Marketing, Economics, Accounting, or other related field Required.

EXPERIENCE: 3+ years experience in financial analysis, financial reporting, decision support analysis, financial modeling, and contract/agreement review; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to respond and adapt to multiple projects and requests with short notice and multi-task across a broad range of projects with differing fact patterns
• Strong oral and written communication skills with history of producing executive presentations, research briefs, and business plans
• Advanced quantitative analysis skills including ability to identify desired data for a given analysis, conduct complex analyses, and extract key insights
• Strong ability to work across functions collaboratively
• Experience in a tourism, entertainment, or an adjacent industry a plus.
