*Note: Hybrid and remote roles at many of our sites are currently working from home because of COVID-19 protocols. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process.

*THIS IS A REMOTE AND ALTERNATE WORK WEEK (AWW) POSITION WHICH WOULD REQUIRE WEEKEND HOURS. INITIAL TRAINING WOULD BE ON A NORMAL WORK WEEK SCHEDULE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diverse types of statistical analyses for both the military and commercial programs.
  • Assist multifunctional teams with problem solving, process improvement, and data based decision making through the use of statistical methods, analyses, and tools with applications spanning such areas as Metallurgical (mechanical test, microstructural analysis), Manufacturing, Non destructive Examination - all inclusive of P&W Supplier & Customer support.


Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of work experience applying statistical methods
  • Computer Language experience with SAS, Minitab, R
  • MS/MA in Statistics or related field (Mathematics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Biostatistics) from an accredited University
  • US Citizenship required due to government contracts

  • Experimental Design / Design of Experiments
  • Categorical Data analysis
  • Statistical Process Control and Process Capability
  • Multivariate Data Analysis
  • Confidence, Prediction, and Tolerance Intervals
  • Sampling Plans
  • Nonparametric Methods
  • Distribution Fitting
  • Hypothesis testing
  • Monte Carlo Simulations
  • Statistical methods for small data sets
  • Manufacturing and/or Engineering


Desired Professional Society memberships:

  • American Society for Quality (ASQ)
  • American Statistical Association (ASA)


Preferred Certificates:

  • ASQ - Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
  • ASA - Accredited Professional Statistician
