Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a Sr. Application Portfolio Analyst to join our Technology Team based in Dania Beach, FL. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to be a part of our Internal Tools Team. As a Sr. Application Portfolio Analyst, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the portfolio of applications available across the organization (including financial reporting), key point of contact for vetting new applications, and the liaison between the business and technical teams for the onboarding of new applications.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and maintain knowledge necessary to understand the different internal applications/tools within the portfolio
  • Work with application stakeholders throughout the organization to identify application capabilities, risks, and other key attributes of their applications
  • Continuously develop strategic relationships with business, technical, and other leaders to ensure alignment of care capabilities and strategic direction
  • Partner with business and deployment stakeholders to determine paths to market for proposed technology solutions supporting third party engagements
  • Build and maintain an application lifecycle from inception, procurement, onboarding, and decommissioning process
  • Establish an application score card to evaluate ROI, TCO, licensing models and other key metrics
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to assess new requested tools and/or applications
  • Grow and maintain expertise on application usage data to aid analysis and provide reports to Procurement, Finance, and IT

What You’ll Need:

  • 6+ years’ experience related to work focused on portfolio, financial and technical analysis
  • Technical experience working within a portfolio tracking tool/application (i.e. ServiceNow’s Application Portfolio Management - APM)
  • Outstanding analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative
  • Able to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Enthusiastic, responsible, with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent active listening and verbal communication skills
  • Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, creative problem-solver who can adapt to new technologies and evolving stakeholder requirements
  • Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment
  • Able to work effectively in an environment with many competing and high priority demands 

Bonus (if applicable):

  • Experience using ServiceNow and the Application Portfolio Management (APM) module
  • ITIL Certification
