The Sr. Analyst of Data Strategy will act as a data champion within the company through a combination of strategic initiatives, ad-hoc analysis, and routine reporting. This will require working across several teams on both the IT and the business sides to ensure end-to-end data integrity and operationalization. It is the job of the Sr. Analyst of Data Strategy to provide intelligence that includes critical thinking, clear communication, and actionable insights across all levels of the organization.

Additionally, the Sr. Analyst of Data Strategy will play a key role in integrating analytical tools into the organization to allow for increased automation, standardization, and actionability. The role will require continual collaboration with leadership as well as internal and external departments to gain a mastery of the business; facilitate shared learning and ensure business implications of insights are understood and actioned.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create and automate routine reporting for stakeholders across the organization
  • Assist with the integration and utilization of new data sources
  • Provide data-based analytical insights and recommendations that drive overall business performance
  • Facilitate discussions, present findings in a clear and intuitive way, and gain alignment on follow-up implications
  • Assist with forecast development using historical data trends
  • Highlight risks and opportunities for delivering annual plan results
  • Integrate new data sources and tools to enhance capabilities
  • Guide process and methodology recommendations for evaluating company performance
  • Participate in strategy-based planning discussions to guide long term needs and targets for the organization


Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years data analytics experience in education, CPG, retail, or e-commerce organizations
  • A degree in Economics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, & Microsoft Excel
  • Proven experience with bringing structured thinking in ambiguous problems spaces and delivering solutions
  • Ability to operate simultaneously and effectively in both tactical and strategic modes


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with R or Python
  • Background in Marketing Analytics, utilization of Google Analytics, Salesforce, & other marketing analytics tools


The anticipated starting salary range for Colorado-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $85K. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.
