OVERVIEW
It's an exciting time to join our dynamic Tax team and be a part of the amazing growth the Company is experiencing! We are seeking an Analyst to join our Tax Controversy team to help support our audit program. The candidate will assist with indirect tax audit defense, special projects, and should expect to collaborate with multiple teams.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Assist with managing indirect tax (sales/use) audit trackers and document the status of information document requests (“IDR”)
- Assist with indirect tax audits including preparing for discussions with auditors, external advisors, and reviewing audit requests
- Prioritization of multiple workstreams
- Learn internal systems to pull reports and documentation to support audits
- Ability to review, analyze, and consolidate large datasets
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the broader tax team
- Collaborate with external advisors to develop and implement audit strategies and prepare responses to audit requests
- Work with team members in a collaborative environment to facilitate closing of audit
- Work directly with the indirect tax compliance team to support the indirect tax compliance process
ABOUT YOU
- Interest in learning about indirect tax and the tax operations of a fast-growing company
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to simultaneously work on projects with competing deadlines
- Excellent writing, communication, and research skills
- General understanding of accounting principles including but not limited to general ledgers, trial balances, etc.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other data analytical tools
- Ability to work with different verticals
- B.S. degree
