WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a North America Multinode Operations Senior Analyst to lead strategic efforts to position supply and inventory planning teams to deliver new capabilities for an omnichannel marketplace and manage the execution of inventory movements across all distribution nodes in North America!

This role will be a blend of strategic engagement (with various partner teams to deliver the multinode inventory planning capabilities) and execution of inventory deployment operations. The candidate will design, implement, test, and complete plans to evolve our current inventory planning capabilities to a future state that serves customers and consumers from multiple points of distribution in a fast and efficient way!

The person we're looking for is somebody that can understand the big picture, think strategically, and drive the future state design of a supply and inventory planning capability. You will need to be adept at collaborating with other functions, communicating summary level and detailed information to different audience groups, and managing execution of inventory movements.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Your typical day will be a balance of designing the future and carrying out the present:

Design future capabilities: you'll drive the Supply and Inventory Planning (S&IP) function's point-of-view in cross-functional designs sessions that will establish how we set up:

  • Multi-Echelon Inventory Optimization
  • Inventory Planning and Shaping
  • Supply Deployment
  • Inventory Netting
  • Inventory Balancing


For the distribution network of the future that transitions to multi-node omnichannel environment. This will encompass the strategic design of supply and inventory planning in a multi-node environment, the pilot/testing of new capabilities, and the deployment of the capabilities to the NA Supply and Inventory Planning and DSM teams.

Execute the Present: While the future state is being created, you'll also complete inventory deployment optimization deployment in our supply chain network to deliver on the consumer promise of speed. You'll handle stock transfers, inventory divert operations, Direct Ship order Cancels, and other DC inventory movement operations.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
This role is part of the Responsive and Optimization Team within North America Supply and Inventory Planning. You will be reporting to the Manager, Multinode Inventory Operations. As you implement inventory movements across our network, you will work with cross-functional partners to include Marketplace Operations (MPO), DC Operations, and Transportation teams.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Education - Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
  • Experience - 2 years of directly related work experience or combination of relevant education, experience, and training . Prior experience in DC operations, transportation, and/or supply and inventory operations.
  • Skills: Experience in a forecasting or inventory capacity. Experience with forecasting, buying and
  • inventory planning and control processes
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with multinode and/or omnichannel distribution concepts
  • Communication & storytelling - proficient in MS PowerPoint. Demonstrated ability to articulate clear vision and use storytelling to engage & influence decision making.
  • Self-organization - sets goals and clarifies expectations and then works independently with minimal guidance. Shows initiative and a sense of urgency and has a proven ability to handle competing priorities.
  • Leadership - self-starter, motivated and proactive in setting direction and making recommendations. Deals with ambiguity by proactively creating clarity instead of waiting for others to provide direction.

Preferred skills:

  • Data & Analytics - advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, IF, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, Charts, etc.) Demonstrated ability to identify trends, simplify complex data, visualize trade-offs and make impactful recommendations grounded in data.
  • Tech - familiarity with Nike's IT system structure (Teradata, SAP, MMX, CDB, etc.)
  • Experience in Supply Chain or within the footwear/apparel industry
