Position Description:
Senior Advanced Analytics Analyst for Medtronic, Inc. located in Tempe, AZ. Responsible for supporting the Data and Analytics strategy and implementation plans across the various focus areas (workstreams) by partnering with the Enterprise Process group. Develops, inspects, mines, transforms, and model's data to raise productivity, improve decision making. Conducts statistical analysis on data and information to ensure correct predictive forecasting or classification. Develops and executes on the data analytics roadmap for adoption of operational analytics and insights activity (including real-time operational data visualization dashboards, customer segmentation and profiling, continuous improvement opportunities, predictive modeling). Utilizes machine language and statistical modeling techniques such as decision trees, logistic regression, Bayesian analysis to develop and evaluate algorithms. Applies User Experience, Product Mgmt. approaches & Agile Methodologies to identify, build, scale, and market Data Products across the Enterprise. Coordinates Data mining, data analytics and Cloud- based data infrastructure. Coordinates program metrics migration from legacy systems to new, cloud-based framework. Coordinates Product Lifecycle Mgmt. to include Enovia and Change Control Processes. Utilizes SAP R/3, SAP Business Objects, Business Warehouse, Power BI and Tableau. Provides for mathematical optimization and statistical demand plan forecasting. Utilizes Microsoft SharePoint, InfoPath and Spotfire. Responsible for various supplier manufacturing maturity assessments. Navigates Environmental regulations to include WEEE, RoHS, REACH, CA Prop 65 and Conflict Minerals. Provides Financial analysis to include Net Present Value (NPV), Return of Investment (ROI), Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR).

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field and five years of experience in data analytics and insights for supply chain operations; or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field and two years of experience in data analytics and insights for supply chain operations. Must possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience with each of the following: Data mining, data analytics and Cloud- based data infrastructure; program metrics migration from legacy systems to new, cloud-based framework; Product Lifecycle Mgmt. to include Enovia and Change Control Processes; SAP R/3, SAP Business Objects, Business Warehouse, Power BI and Tableau; mathematical optimization and statistical demand plan forecasting; Microsoft SharePoint, InfoPath and Spotfire; supplier manufacturing maturity assessment; and Financial analysis to include Net Present Value (NPV), Return of Investment (ROI), Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR).
