Your Career 

Palo Alto Networks is looking for a highly motivated Senior Accounts Receivable Data Analyst who is excited to join a high growth Company. The ideal candidate must possess strong critical thinking, communication and project management skills. This role will provide the opportunity to work alongside OTC Leadership to optimize the structure, improve processes, enhance governance and build scalable solutions for future growth. 

Your Impact

  • Order to Cash SAP S/4Hana design and UAT Testing
  • Identify and collaborate with cross-functional business partners and third parties to implement best practices, automation and continuous process improvements 
  • Collaborate with the AR, Credit & Collections management team for future projects 
  • Issue and communicate project status to leadership, steering committee and other stakeholders as appropriate
  • Support accounts receivable related system implementations and perform or review user acceptance testing
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc requests as needed
  • Improve and scale AR’s invoicing capabilities. This includes process improvement, streamlining and standardizing billing processes globally, and advancing billing automation 
  • Evaluate sources of information from customers and PANW’s Sales, Deal Desk and Orders team to determine any limitations, in terms of reliability and usability
  • Identify and automate operational processes to increase operational efficiency
  • Drive process improvements and lead change management efforts for billing mechanisms globally
  • Invent new ways to define and measure program effectiveness and organizational productivity
  • Prepare data for processing by working with internal teams including SAP Technical ERP

Qualifications

Your Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or relative area with 3+ years experience 
  • Public company experience within an Order Operations, Billing, AR, Credit and Collections environment
  • SAP experience specifically related to Billing, AR, Credit & Collections required
  • Experience with writing data queries and performing complex data analysis activities across a multitude of analytics and reporting technologies including Tableau, GCP, Clarizen, and Salesforce
  • Experience with high technology clients in the Hardware, Software and/or SaaS space a plus
  • Experience with the implementation of business architecture, process design and/or technology solutions in the billing, accounts receivable and finance domain
  • Experience with billing and payments channel design, billing strategies, financial flows (revenue and receivables) and result reporting 
  • Experience with automated billing and payment strategies, collections, revenue accounting and financial analytics
  • Understanding of billing, payment data management, includes value chain synchronization and revenue recognition
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and execute with accuracy and efficiency
  • Critical thinker with a risk-based approach mindset and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build relationships across multiple functions and implement new processes
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Proficiency in Google Suite a plus

If hired in Colorado, this position starts at $95,200/yr. Depending on the position offered, restricted stock units and incentive or bonus pay may be provided as part of this compensation package.
