JOB DUTIES:
BUILD AND RUN NEW MONITORING/ANALYTICS SYSTEMS TO SAFEGUARD THE CORPORATE ENVIRONMENT AND COMPANY'S PROPRIETARY CLOUD SERVICES. ANALYZE LOG DATA TO IDENTIFY SIGNS OF COMPROMISE AND IMPLEMENT HIGH-FIDELITY ALERTS. BUILD NEW SYSTEMS, DEVELOP AUTOMATION AND SOLVE SECURITY PROBLEMS USING MODERN PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES AND SCRIPTING LANGUAGES, SUCH AS JAVA, GO, PYTHON, PEARL, RUBY, BASH. WRITE CODE TO COMPLETE SECURITY TASKS. RESPOND TO INCIDENTS AND ENGAGE IN SECURITY AND INCIDENT INVESTIGATION. HACK DATA IN SPLUNK AND BUILD SECURITY INTELLIGENCE TOOLS AND PLATFORMS, INCLUDING AWS OR SIMILAR CLOUD SERVICE PLATFORMS. PERFORM MALWARE ANALYSIS, THREAT HUNTING AND THREAT MODELING. RESEARCH ATTACKER TOOLS AND TACTICS. ANALYZE COMPANY'S AGGREGATE SECURITY METRICS. ADVOCATE SECURITY AND SECURE PRACTICES THROUGHOUT THE COMPANY.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
MASTER'S DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE OR RELATED FIELD OF STUDY PLUS ONE (1) YEAR OF EXPERIENCE IN A COMPUTER SECURITY ROLE, INCLUDING EXPERIENCE WITH SECURITY INCIDENT MANAGEMENT AND INVESTIGATION; USING MODERN PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES AND SCRIPTING LANGUAGES, SUCH AS JAVA, GO, PYTHON, PEARL, RUBY, BASH; WRITING CODE TO COMPLETE SECURITY TASKS; PERFORMING MALWARE ANALYSIS, THREAT HUNTING AND THREAT MODELING; DATA ANALYTICS; AWS OR SIMILAR CLOUD SERVICE PLATFORM; LEVERAGING OPEN SOURCE AND CURATED THREAT INTELLIGENCE SOURCES; USING AND MANAGING ENDPOINT DETECTION AND RESPONSE (EDR) SOFTWARE; DEVELOPING HIGH FIDELITY SIGNATURES AND DETECTIONS USING SPLUNK.
ALTERNATE REQUIREMENTS:
