How you'll LEAD:

The Security Analyst is responsible for analysing potential security threats, reacting and initiating incident response to mitigate risk, and maintaining our security and support tools. The right candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and operational reporting. Candidate should also have experience and skills in developing reports and organizing data for reporting and fulfilment of audit requests. The candidate is expected to be technically adept but also a good communicator and team player.

How you'll CREATE:

• Threat management, monitoring, and response by using a variety of security solutions across their environment
• Maps business processes to data structures
• Test and evaluate new security technology
• Collaborates with business process owners to understand current state
• Create and maintain process and procedure documentation for all Technical Operations security
• Contribute to roadmap for security tool sets
• Monitor security events for threats and security breaches
• Participate in rapidly remediating active attacks in the environment
• Reporting violations of organizational policies to appropriate stakeholders
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Bring your VIBE:

• Strong knowledge of security tools (Splunk, Palo Alto Prisma Cloud, XDR/EDR products)
• Knowledge of firewalls, antivirus, proxies, SIEM solutions and IDPS concepts
• Knowledge of penetration testing (ethical hacking), network security and techniques used to expose and correct security flaws
• Experience installing security software and documenting security issues
• Understand patch management
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to conduct research into issues and products as required
• Familiarity with IT governance standards including ITIL
• Ability to foster and work in a team environment, as well as being self-motivated
• Desktop skills / applications - Windows, MS Office suite
• Strong, clear, and effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with users in clear non-technical terms
• A minimum of three years of experience in the information technology security field
• Experience in the design and delivery of presentations to both technical and business leadership teams
• BA or BS degree in an IT related field or an equivalent combination of formal education and applicable experience required
