Position Summary

As a process and business system expert, the SAP Business Analyst assists in achieving our top priority business objectives through effective gathering of requirements and thoughtful application of new and existing technology solutions as appropriate. For prioritized work requests; the business Analyst is responsible for analysis, design, configuration, testing, training, documentation, deployment and maintenance of IT capabilities within their areas of expertise. The IT Business Analyst also provides support and mentoring for existing IT capabilities according to established processes.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain an in-depth and current knowledge of processes and systems in area of expertise.
• Perform root cause analysis and participate in architecting solutions to solve business challenges
• Work with corporate IT and business team members to analyze and document requirements
• Collaborate with Service Owner to provide project sizing of new incoming demand
• Assist Service Owner, scrum master or project manager in developing user stories for capability developments, liaising as appropriate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and impact of any functionality change.
• Generate and execute test plans to ensure quality of work, and to ensure the impact on all platforms and regions is known and understood
• Work with integration team to design data integrations between product tools and systems, provide testing and assess impact
• Liaise as required with third parties regarding development and integration
• Coordinate delivery of system changes and enhancements including communication
• Document all enhancements, implementations or interfaces (technical and business-level documentation).
• Provide necessary training
• Provide timely efficient 3rd tier support (1st tier is super user community, 2nd is BA responsible for 2nd tier support)
• Develops and mentors regional business system super users in an effort to develop business self help environment.
• Consistently builds self help environment culture through interactions with super users, end users, and business managers
• Assist with knowledge transfer and training to other Business Analysts as needed
• Increase skills and knowledge by interacting with Service Owners, other BA's and external resources.

Qualifications
• Four-year college or university degree/certificate or strongly related compensatory work experience
• Broad functional SAP knowledge
• Proven project management, presentatio, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Experience and proficiency with Agile development methodologies
• A focus on business acumen, innovation, working with teams, and effective communication through multiple layers in the organization
• Positive attitude and ability to be flexible to changes and working requirements of the position

Preferred:
• Prior Business Analyst experience
• Experience working in global environment
• Ability to act as a trusted advisor at all levels of the organization
