SAN Engineer- Remote
Description
Koch Global Services (KGS) is searching for a SAN Engineer to join our Hosting Organization. This role will be a part of a global team that supports and maintain storage array for Koch Industries. In addition to supporting storage arrays, you will partner with colleagues to develop and implement innovative solutions to streamline services for our customers.

They will have experience with being proactive and seeking out customers' needs and developing wholistic solutions.
What You Will Do in Your Role
- Support a large-scale storage environment under minimal supervision performing management tasks
- Interface with customers and vendors ensuring resolution to storage hardware support
- Maintain inventory of asset list for billing and reporting for supported arrays
- Collaborate with global team to automate and streamline management of storage arrays
- Take initiative to problem solve, design, and develop solutions with a high sense of urgency.
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience managing various storage technologies
- 1+ years of Cloud experience in AWS, Azure, etc.
- Experience in successful collaboration across all levels of customer groups (i.e. internal, external, individual contributors, managerial, global, etc.)
- Experience being highly organized with the ability to prioritize and coordinate task
What Will Put You Ahead
- Scripting experience (Python, Powershell, API's)
- Knowledge and experience of Nimble, Compellent, and Hitachi storage arrays
- Experience with ITIL management and reporting

For this role, we anticipate paying $ 90,000 - $ 130,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
