Job Summary
The Senior Business Analyst (SBA) has high visibility and assumes vast responsibilities on Salesforce engagements. The candidate is responsible for leading business discovery workshops, eliciting and documenting business processes and functional requirements and engaging with other members of the project team in a leadership role. This resource leads junior consultants and client staff using Salesforce, industry, and domain subject matter expertise. They bring thought leadership and strategic capability. The SBA is responsible for performing end-to-end, cross-discipline leadership throughout the software development lifecycle. Accountable for on-time, high quality software project deliveries, including Analysis, Design, Development and Quality Assurance.
Responsibilities
- Lead all portions of the functional components of a Salesforce project: developing requirements and designing prototypes, testing & training strategies
- Lead workshops te to RFP responses and other sales related activities
- Perform routine administration and configuration functions in Salesforce
- Participate and coordinate the delivery of work product with onshore / offshore teams across project phases
Skills and Qualifications
Required
- At least 4+ years in a consulting function
- Education: Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 3 Salesforce full life cycle implementations
- 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce business analyst
- Consulting background with strong experience in either the Sales, Service or Marketing Cloud platforms (exposure to Communities and Financial Services Cloud a plus)
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement technology-enabled business solutions in client-facing and team leadership roles (e.g., functional lead, work-stream lead, etc.)
- For consultants based outside of India, willingness to travel
- Salesforce Administrator Certification
- Healthcare and Health Cloud Experience
Preferred
- PMI-PBA/CBAP Certification
- Salesforce App Builder
- Either of Salesforce CPQ / Field Service / Experience Cloud Certifications
- Salesforce Industry Cloud Accreditations
- to discover, define and implement practical business solutions leveraging Salesforce best practices and capabilities
- Assist with the scoping and planning of Salesforce and CRM related projects
- Develop mapping documents to facilitate design of complex system integrations with Salesforce
- Elicit and document functional and technical requirements needed to address client needs
- Create actionable user stories based on gathered business requirements
- Design Salesforce access and visibility control mechanisms
