Your Role and Responsibilities

- Act as subject matter expert (SME) for projects including analysis of legacy files, matching of data and validating data
- Coordinate with business/IT to capture field mapping, field transformation and normalization logic
- Consolidating, transforming, and migrating data from many source systems
- Develop SQL Script, analyzing data, creating data metrics, and integrating data using emerging technologies
- Identifying and documenting data milestones
- Assume ownership and responsibility for data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity of data fields
- Runs DPR sessions
- Identifies and document data milestones for both client and IBM
- Effectively collaborates with project team and client resources to deliver on data requirements

Candidate must live within 300 miles of Buffalo NY. Travel is typically related to knowledge transfer and training at the client site (Monday thru Friday). POST COVID you are expected to travel up to 75% of the time to meet our client needs across the US.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

- 2-4 years of consulting work experience in a Data Specialist/Architect capacity
- Implementation experience in Salesforce data migration projects, including hands on data extraction, writing transformation scripts, and migrating data
- Exceptional knowledge of relational databases with a developed competency around MS SQL Server, MYSQL, or Oracle or other common RDBMS
- Deep understanding of data quality tools, including hands on experience with data cleansing, data enrichment, and data manipulations
- Experience analyzing data and presenting data quality metrics to clients
- Experience with the various integration patterns (Layer, Timing, Direction, and Volume)
- Experience with ETL - Informatica Cloud/Powercenter, Jitterbit, Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, IBM App Connect Pro
- Familiarity with API management
- Knowledge of Agile development practices
