The Hartford is seeking a Senior Salesforce Administrator to join our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Has supervisory responsibility in instructing, providing guidance, assigning, directing and checking the work of the other Salesforce configuration analysts or developers.
  • Acts as expert technical resource to staff in all phases of the development and implementation process.
  • Responsible for Salesforce configuration/development.
  • Measures and monitors progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time and meet expectations.
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes. Interpret the outcomes into configurable solutions in Salesforce.com.
  • Coordinates the activities of the team with the business area and other IT sections (e.g., data, operations, QA, technical support, etc.).
  • Manages business and IT stakeholders and acts as a liaison between business and IT.
  • Possesses functional knowledge and skills reflective of a competent practitioner with the ability to deliver on work of highest technical complexity.
  • Aides team members' elicitation efforts through help selecting approaches and identification of gaps / areas to explore.
  • Selects the appropriate tools and techniques based on assessment of the project and assignment objectives.
  • Mentors team members to drive awareness of new approaches and improve execution of known techniques.
  • Ability to structure and drive working and informational sessions that promote collaboration, achieve synergy, and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Actively manages participants creating distractions / diversions counter to desired outcomes.
  • Identifies choices and improvement opportunities to better align own work with the direction and strategic priorities of the broader organization.
  • Partner closely with Tech Leads to bridge the gap between Salesforce.com configuration and code.
  • Responsible for end to end delivery of Salesforce solutions including: Establish, document implement, manage and monitor releases and ensure program-wide compliance for normal and emergency fixes. Make sure releases are delivered on time and meet expectations. Identify change management processes, all applicable stakeholders, release, notify, communicate and manage expectations through all phases of the release process.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, with an advanced degree preferred,
  • 5+ years of experience in a diverse work experience in IT; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Requires an extensive knowledge of the business area's functions and knowledge of system and technology alternatives, excellent communication skills, analytical ability, strong judgment and management skills, and the ability to work effectively with client and IT management and staff.
  • Strong leadership skills & presentation skills
  • Strong experience with vendor management
  • Ability to create advanced solutions in Salesforce.com leveraging configuration and best practices
  • Salesforce.com certification is preferred
  • Prior analysis experience with a willingness to learn new technologies - cloud, big data
  • Prefer Scrum/SAFe experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship


Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

$95,920 - $143,880
