Please review the following job description:

  • Lead complex analytic projects and perform efforts such as analysis, design, coding/creating, and testing. Development will include but not be limited to creating customized data warehouses, loan level analysis, and reporting solutions using analytical tools/programming languages such as SAS, R, Python, SQL, Cognos, Tableau, QlikView, Microstrategy and Microsoft Office Products. Ensure adherence to company and industry standards.
  • Deliver technically complex solutions.
  • Provide expertise on DataMart design and implementation of reporting solutions.
  • Work directly with data management, strategic risk teams and other team members while analyzing and decomposing complex problems into simple stories for reporting.
  • Collaborate with the senior management, line of business (LOB) and the team to manage and estimate the size and complexity of the risk reporting dashboard features.
  • Perform the technical design, implementation, and testing of the features and commit to stories.
  • Perform system integration support for all project work.
  • Provide technical consultation on extremely challenging or unusual situations.
  • Investigate and research unexplained variations in reports, data, systems, etc. Explain results of reports and research to department management and other stakeholders.
  • Interpret internal/external data sources and recommend best practices.
  • Mentor less experienced teammates to build technical expertise.
  • Lead/conduct robust testing and provide testing support for analytical projects. Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
  • Lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements; play significant roles in larger, more complex initiatives.


Requirements

  • Must have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related technical field.
  • Must have 5 years of progressive experience in Data Analyst positions performing the following:
    • Applying in-depth knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the professional disciplines of information technology, project management, finance, and risk management.
    • Applying knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and the factors that differentiate the company from competitors in the market.
    • Leading small projects
    • Utilizing experience with: SAS, R, Python, SQL, Cognos, Tableau, QlikView, Microstrategy, and Microsoft Office Products.
    • Position may work remotely but is based out of and reports to Truist offices in Raleigh, NC. Must be available to travel to Raleigh, NC regularly for meetings and reviews with manager and project teams within 48-hours' notice.
