Position responsibilities

• The Risk Analyst will be responsible for developing statistical information on complex client accounts for the Commercial Insurance Department
• This individual will prepare financial models to illustrate, project, and analyze a variety of quantitative projects
• Formulate spreadsheets, graphs, charts, diagrams, and other illustrative tools used in presentations to identify trends and assist our clients in understanding the drivers of their cost of risk
• The Risk Analyst will follow policies and procedures to make the overall practice more efficient and effective
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in accounting, actuarial science, finance, business, or math preferred, or equivalent education and/or experience with emphasis in math, accounting, or finance
• A minimum of two year's analytical experience preferred
• Completion of two plus actuarial exams preferred
• This individual will have high skills in using computer application software for financial modeling, statistical analysis, spreadsheet calculations, word processing, and other database analyses
• Ability to compile, analyze, present, and interpret complex financial and statistical information to facilitate decision making
• Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft and be away from home more than one day and night
