About the team
The Payment Facilitator Credit/Risk Team works collaboratively with Payment Facilitators, business development teams, relationship managers, transaction risk analysts, compliance and legal departments to mitigate risk while supporting growth objectives within the Payment Facilitator line of business. We're a diverse team with the potential to have a significant positive impact both internally and for our clients.
What you will be doing
The Risk Analyst II position will oversee the Payment Facilitator portfolio for FIS. The role will include responsibilities of daily monitoring of sub-merchant transactional and chargeback activity, performing evaluations of risk, assessing effectiveness of controls and promoting continuous improvement across the organization through deployment of risk response activities for the Payment Facilitator Credit Risk organization.
General duties and responsibilities also include:

  • Ensures strategic objectives of risk management program are met including execution of risk assessment activities, coordination of risk response and program testing/validation
    Reviews significant events and advises business owners of action steps required to prevent future recurrence
  • Manage funding tools to divert and secure funds for potential future losses
  • Conduct research to identify possible threats and minimize exposure to financial loss
  • Implement new tools and processes to become more proactive and effective in risk appreciation and treatment
  • Documents risk analysis and controls and evaluates control design and continuous control improvement
  • Manages specific areas of exposure
  • Participates in projects designed to mitigate risks including generating action plans for issues/gaps
  • Other related duties assigned as needed
