Overview  

The Revenue Operations Automation Manager will be responsible for defining and maintaining the best methods to automate growth and retention initiatives and will be instrumental in platform planning for systems and process improvements at Ruby. 

You will support the full revenue operations lifecycle and the tech stack behind it, from lead acquisition to ongoing retention. Operationally, we use Salesforce and HubSpot platforms to run most of our campaigns, so proficiency in these two systems is a must. You will monitor data flows and infrastructure that supports campaign performance metrics, conduct troubleshooting, compliance, and maintain deliverability health. As an efficiency guru, you will work collaboratively across internal teams and our tech stack to ensure our prospects and customers move seamlessly through our funnels. You will also support all other revenue systems as defined by the Revenue Operations Team. 

This position will report to the Director, Revenue Operations and can be located from one of our offices in Portland, OR, or Kansas City, MO metro area, or full remote (state-dependent). 

What You’ll Be Accountable For  

  • Guide, evolve and maintain documentation of the automation roadmap across the full breadth of Ruby MarTech platforms, including HubSpot, Salesforce, Revenue.io (formerly RingDNA), Calendly, LeanData, OneTrust, Ask Nicely, Pendo, Ambition, DocuSign, and others. 
  • Develop a holistic understanding of Ruby’s MarTech and data platform needs across the customer lifecycle and work closely with internal teams, including tech, to ensure the right initiatives are prioritized for implementation and closely align with our sales, customer success and marketing priorities and business outcomes. 
  • Work with key Revenue Team stakeholders to translate business needs into functional requirements for our marketing technologies, sales automation systems and marketing automation systems. 
  • Define the best methods to automate marketing activity and ensure all communication is integrated to accurately measure for success.  
  • Proactively identify and communicate opportunities to implement enhanced data collection and cleansing initiatives aimed at increasing actionable data for sales activities and improving marketing effectiveness/ROI analysis.  
  • Own system level documentation and conduct design sessions and align to operations processes. 
  • Manage vendors and build relationships while prioritizing system issues, bugs, new features, enhancements, and roadmap. Make recommendations as appropriate to the business.

  • Increase acquisition of leads and speed by which they convert to marketing and sales qualified and closed/won revenue. 
  • Meet/exceed performance expectations of systems by Revenue Team Leadership. 
  • Effectiveness of tools to deliver on desired business outcomes, with operational efficiency gains across the Sales, Marketing and Customer Success Teams.

Your Background  

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing and project management, with at least 2 years in the B2B technology space. 
  • Expert knowledge of HubSpot and Salesforce and strong understanding of sales and customer success automation tools.  
  • Obsessive attention to detail, strong organizational skill, extremely collaborative, as well as eager to build and document processes to scale and fine-tune. 
  • Performance-driven as you clearly establish deliverables, timelines and KPIs for your projects and ensure initiatives meet and achieve business objectives.  
  • Experience collaborating within team tools like Asana, OneDrive, MS Teams, etc.  
  • Ability to respond quickly to changing business needs while completing quality projects with multiple stakeholders on time. 
  • Genuine curiosity and a strong desire to continuously learn and grow. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth and collaborative environment. 
  • Excellent people skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams. 
  • A desire to make an impact for our SMB community. 

Work Environment

Work can take place either in an open office setting or remote. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work a flexible and regular full-time schedule. This position requires the ability to sit/stand and work at a computer for extended periods of time, and communicate effectively with a diverse audience in person, by phone and by computer.
