The Resource and Location Strategy team is a part of the broader Location and Supplier Strategy (LSS) team within the COO Office of Personal Banking and Wealth Management (PBWM) Operations and Fraud Prevention. LSS's mission is to develop and execute location and supplier strategies that meet the evolving needs of Citi and PBWM.

The Resource and Location Strategy team acts as a trusted partner to all stakeholders (Business / Functions, HR, Finance, Citi Realty Services (CRS), Corporate Site Research and Analytics (SRA)) providing relevant and actionable advisory analysis / insights to help drive business performance

Key Team Activities

  • Development of Resource and Location Strategy to optimize site footprint
  • Execution of Resource and Location Strategy initiatives
  • Periodic Reporting and Forecasting processes



The Resource and Location Strategy Sr. Analyst is a key support role involved in the strategy, planning and execution of critical projects by LSS. The position requires a candidate with strong business acumen, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analysis to support development of Resource and Location Strategy working closely with PBWM Operations and Fraud Prevention Functions, HR, and Citi SRA
  • Develop presentations to synthesize key findings of team analyses and present key findings to team leader
  • Perform deep dives on specific Functions and Sites to re-assess strategies and opportunities
  • Support partnership with Citi SRA to conduct in-depth research and assist with analyzing key competitive trends to support business strategy
  • Assist with alignment with other strategic efforts such as Future of Work, CSC network strategy as well as EIO&T (CRS and CTI) partners
  • Lead projects (as assigned) across their lifecycle: identifying and structuring the problem, analyzing root causes, developing solutions, communicating project results, and getting buy-in for change
  • Work effectively in ambiguous situations; effectively adapts to unstructured environment and shows initiative in support of sustainable change
  • Develop strong relationships and partnerships across various stakeholder groups to achieve project and organizational goals; be a change champion across the organization



Development Opportunities:

  • Exposure to senior management (LSS in particular)
  • Gain deep understanding of various Functions and Sites of PBWM Operations and Fraud Prevention
  • Develop strong working relationships with a variety of PBWM Operations and Fraud Prevention Functions, HR, CRS, CTI, and Finance
  • Exposure to a variety of topics (Site Strategy, Talent Acquisition, Location / Market Demographics, and Real Estate Optimization) in a fast-paced environment with challenging, multi-faceted assignments



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's / University Degree
  • 6-10 years of Financial Services, Management / Strategy Consulting, Real Estate, or Project / Program Management Experience
  • Strong quantitative / analytical skills - Ability to analyze large data sets
  • Ability to see big picture and derive implications for the Business/Functions from data analysis
  • Experience with building PowerPoint presentations that convey a story supported by data findings
  • Capable of creative, independent thinking, going beyond the obvious to find solutions
  • High degree of flexibility, productivity, and motivated self-starter
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
  • Demonstrate Initiative, pro-active approach and informal leadership
  • Results/execution orientated, with a strong sense of urgency around tangible accomplishments - measurable impact to the business
