Overview

Knowledge Services, a Fishers-based consulting and technology company, is currently hiring multiple Remote Data Entry Specialists for a four-month project, with the potential of extensions and/or transfer to new projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing applications of medical related providers. You will be asked review the applications, and if necessary, reach out to the provider for more information needed to complete their application. Once the application is complete and ready for approval, you will then turn it over to the customer to approve the issuance of the certification letter. This work is mostly performed via email but may require some phone interaction.

This project will allow you to demonstrate and further develop your verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and database management skills. In addition, it will provide an opportunity to grow your professional network and potentially open the door to future career opportunities within the organization.

This role offers a remote work environment. Candidates should be an Indiana Resident and able to travel to offices in Indianapolis for training in early October.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizing and completing the steps within the process manual to complete the review process, including but not limited to:
    • Review emails and applications
    • Classify emails with appropriate tags and in appropriate folders
    • Update tracking spreadsheets
    • Review and act upon applications
    • Issue the certification letter at the customer's direction and discretion
  • Updating the application status in tracking spreadsheet
  • Become familiar with the policies utilized in the review process
  • Provide timely correspondence with applicants whose applications are under review
  • Interfacing and inputting data into a system



Qualifications

  • 1 year of data entry experience in a professional work environment required
  • Good written and verbal communication required
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills required
  • Must be professional and have demonstrated strong commitment to exceptional customer service
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook required
  • Ability to identify and analyze problem situations and develop an effective course of action for resolution
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities



All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
