Job Description
Consumer & Community Banking Operations Fraud organization needs you! As part of the Point of Sale Fraud Strategy team, the POS Debit Card Strategy Manager will lead a team of analysts with the responsibility of managing fraud losses on the Chase Debit Card portfolio. You will lead complex quantitative and qualitative analysis of fraud trends, lead the development of mitigation strategies, and oversee the implementation of those strategies. This position provides an opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment where strong data analytics skills, business acumen, and superior communication skills are leveraged to support our ability to deliver best in class fraud detection and customer centric solutions to its customers.
Job Responsibilities
  • Manage portfolio balancing fraud losses and customer experience within expected budgetary and performance threshold
  • Provide regular leadership, coaching, & development to members of the team in leveraging data to solve business problems
  • Leverage expertise and build collaborative relationships
  • Proactively seeks, finds, and recommends opportunities to improve fraud detection, customer experience, operational expenses, and processes within the organization
  • Provide accurate, concise results and present findings, recommendations, and presentations to senior management
  • Manage multiple projects and initiatives with limited guidance

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • BA/BS in a quantitative field or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of professional experience including leading projects and initiatives
  • Competent in the use of data technology to solve complex business problems, with hands-on expertise in the use of multiple Business Intelligence toolsets and database platforms; examples include Tableau, Python, R, SQL
  • Experience in Big Data platforms and technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Spark, etc.) preferred
  • Experience in AI Modeling
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of financial services as well as strong analytical, technical, and statistical skills. Ability to synthesize / analyze diverse information, develops recommendations, and makes decisions
  • Project Management Skills -- well-organized, structured approach. Ability to achieve tight timelines on complex deliverables. Ability to manage and prioritize projects across cross-functional groups

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Masters Degree
  • Effective use of business knowledge and technical expertise to challenge assumptions and operating models coming from experience in Fraud strategy, product management and go to market at large organizations
  • Strong presentation skills - ability to synthesize complex data into a compelling story
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with individuals across department
