Job Description
Chase's "Acquisition Center of Excellence Analytics" team drives the data-driven strategy to connect people to the financial products and services that best fit their needs. This team's analytics provide rich business insights on the complex, varied customer journeys that lead to new product acquisition, highlighting opportunities for an improved customer experience along the way such as with more personalized offers and more attractive entryways into acquisition pages in our digital ecosystem. The recommendations from this team directly lead to enhancements to the digital and in-branch customer experience, with all innovative ideas going through rigorous in-market testing that rely on this analytics team to determine what works. This team spans all Chase lines of business - Consumer Banking, Credit Cards, Business Banking, Auto, Home Lending and US Wealth Management - and all channels - Chase's mobile app, web, and in-branch to deliver the most seamless and intuitive customer experience for building new long-term product relationships.
As a key member of the "Acquisition Center of Excellence Analytics" team, the right candidate will be the driver of the analytics book of work that is transforming Chase's cross-channel, cross-line of business acquisition strategy to a hyper-personalized, data-driven, customer centric model. This will require deep understanding of our platforms, capabilities, data assets, and analytic tools to craft the vision for the future and develop a roadmap to get there. The candidate will partner strategically across the firm with marketers, channel owners, digital experts, and the broader analytics community to help drive business goals through deep understanding of marketing analytics and optimization.
The ideal candidate in this role with have a foundation of professional experiences to call on with depth in financial services, marketing, data and analytics as well as strong intellectual curiosity and communication skills. The candidate should be self-driven and independent, motivated to establish and grow a platform to push the business forward.
Role & Responsibilities

  • Customer Journey Business Intelligence - Build the data infrastructure to map the complex customer journeys that lead to new product relationships hitting each step of the acquisition funnel. Establish and measure the OKRs and goals for the business's account opening performance. Deliver best-in-class business intelligence through dashboards and executive reporting to the Acquisitions Center of Excellence and Line of Business leadership
  • Strategic Insights & Opportunity Identification - Identify growth areas throughout the acquisition funnel based on drivers of enhanced discoverability, personalization/relevancy, and UX. Segment prospects and customers to determine gaps between ideal and current state customer experience. Build business cases that fuel prioritization and investment in new customer journey ideas
  • Experimentation - Craft test designs, interpret results, translate results into a program's impact to the company, prepare final documents, and present results to senior management in a fast-paced cadence


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience owning an analytics book of work, with a financial services and marketing focus preferred
  • 3+ years leveraging data visualization tools (Tableau preferred) for data exploration and marketing performance evaluation
  • Experience in querying big data platforms and SAS/SQL querying . Comfort building and managing relationships with both analytics and business stakeholders
  • Proven track record of problem-solving using data and building new analytics capabilities . Talent for translating numbers into an actionable story for business leaders
  • Experience with best-in-class web analytic tools (Google Analytics, Adobe/Omniture Insight/Visual Sciences, Webtrends, CoreMetrics, etc.)
  • Superior written, oral communication and presentation skills with experience communicating concisely and effectively with all levels of management and partners
  • Bachelor's degree is required, with data science, mathematics, statistics, econometrics, engineering, MIS, or related fields preferred
