Quant Analytics Manager - VP
Job Description Responsibilities:
- Design & development of metrics as well as ongoing metric monitoring
- Develop diagnostic capabilities to proactively look for and identify attack vectors
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to support ongoing management and product area business initiatives
- Build and work in a controlled environment
- Participate in roadmap discussions and capture data requirements to feed into our data roadmap
- May lead a small team of individuals including professional development and effective performance management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required; Master's degree preferred
- 5-7+ years of experience in the consumer/card lending industry
- Proven track record of defining metrics, evaluating results, drawing conclusions and insights, and identifying improvement opportunities
- Experience defining and establishing effective controls
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong presentation skills
- Strong relationship management, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Results and client focused with a sense of urgency
- Self-starter, works well independently and as a team player
- Ability to develop and lead a high performing team, if applicable
- Proficiency in: SAS/SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, Statistical Methods, Excel (e.g. pivots) and Microsoft Power Point, Knowledge of Unix environments
