As a Global Quality, Quality Management Systems (QMS), System Performance Excellence (SPE) Requirements Engineer in the Quality Management Office at Micron Technology, Inc., you will collaborate with QMS Process Owners, Standards Program Managers, and Leaders across the globe to deploy, drive and improve quality systems at Micron.
The following attributes in a candidate are essential to success in this role:
QMS Governance
Must have knowledge of and experience working within a QMS. This includes interpretation of requirements and management of documents, processes, and procedures.
Communication
This is a connective role with important interfaces across product development, engineering, and operations. You must have strong communication, facilitation and technical writing skills.
Project Management
Work ethic, responsiveness, and results orientation matter! With everyone driving hard to achieve the company's goals, it is critical to have strong project planning and structured approaches to big decisions. This must include following a methodical approach to change control.
Change Management
You have an understanding of how to prepare and support team members with the application of change in a systematic way to achieve a desired outcome.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Mange requirements end-to-end

  • To manage requirements, ensuring they are fully documented and traceable in line with the Requirements Management Plan.
  • Facilitating review and approval of requirements captured by Subject Matter Experts (SME)
  • Be able to communicate efficiently and clearly with customers.
  • Maintain requirements tracking database.
  • Define and implement methodologies for determination of requirements.
  • Participates in requirements integration activities
  • Managing the process of change (e.g., identification of changes, impact analysis)


Develop and manage traceability of requirements:

  • Validate requirements with respect to Stakeholder Requirements - both internal and external.
  • Provide status reports for requirements capture, validation and verification.
  • Build and maintain requirement repositories, and collaborate with team members to create traceability from requirements to implementation


Education Required

  • Bachelor's Degree: Engineering or Business
    • Preferred: Systems Engineering or Business Analysts


Experience Desired

  • Knowledge of automotive requirements
  • Knowledge of the semiconductor industry or other related manufacturing
  • Knowledge of Micron's Quality Management System
  • Experience of requirements management and requirements management software


Qualifications successful candidates for this position will have:

  • The ability to interpret and effectively resolve complex, technical or ambiguous requests and problems.
  • Exercise analytical approach, be self-reliant, pro-active with excellent problem-solving skill.
  • Ability to create and maintain Technical Documentation and Reports, generate simple schedules and analyze large volumes of data.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and the ability to lead projects across many different project groups.
  • Interpersonal and facilitation skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of people
  • Strong communication skills, ability to assemble, analyze, and evaluate data and provide well-reasoned recommendations and decisions to support the business stakeholders.
  • Be self-directed and able to multitask and prioritize day-to-day activities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Respond well to constructive feedback.
  • Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office suite.
