Description

The Business Analyst (BA) / Project Manager (PL) plays a key role in the review, assessment, and continued improvement and development of business processes supporting Commercial Urban Pest Management. Functioning as a liaison, the BA/PL works with the business team to understand needs, assess scope, and translate those needs into a project roadmap.

The BA/PL is primarily responsible for project leadership, maintaining relationships with external partners, and maintaining run the business processes. The BA/PL is responsible for defining the project scope and coordinating and ensuring consistent and appropriate execution by project team members. This role requires strong communication and project leadership skills.

This role can accommodate a flexible work arrangement where you may work multiple days a week from home.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • IT Project leadership and IT business strategy development.
  • Ensure ongoing run the business activities.
  • Build relationships and align objectives with external integration partners.
  • Work with the business to understand needs and to define and document requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between the business, technical analysts, information technology analysts, consultants, business partners and end users in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of the solution to ensure optimal performance.
  • Analyze the feasibility of, and develops requirements for, new features as well as enhancements to existing functionality; ensures the system design fits the needs of the users
  • Review work of project team members and performs quality assurance reviews, as necessary
  • Assist with project reviews and delivers end-user documentation (user guide, online help, process flow charts, training materials and videos)
  • Coordinate testing activities for customer and business partner UAT signoff/approvals

Qualifications

What expertise have you grown? What do you bring to the table?

  • Undergraduate degree in Project Management, Information Systems, or related field
  • At least 3 years of project management expereince
  • Six Sigma Certification or PMP is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience in IT project management and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience vetting new technologies and developing relationships with 3rd party partners.
  • Effective written, oral, and interpersonal communications.
  • Strong understanding and ability to write business and functional requirements and specification documents.
  • Working knowledge of application integrations in a Web environment.
  • Demonstrated experience as a business analyst (liaison) between business and technology teams.
  • Solid knowledge of system development methodology, project management, system architecture and analytical/problem solving skills
  • Strong risk identification and mitigation planning skills
