AMEX Assurance Co. (AAC) provides insurance protection for Amex Card Members through implicit card benefits, and fee/add-on insurance products to both Card Members and non-Card Members. This is a role within the Claim and Servicing Operations team of AAC whose primary responsibilities include service delivery of the end-to-end insurance experience (enrollment, servicing, and adjudication) for policies and claims; this role will support both proprietary and vendor partner operations. An adjuster license is not required for this role.
As a member of the team, you will provide expertise, research, execution, coordination, and general support to the operations groups across several key areas: day-to-day operations, performance management, initiatives and projects, and issue management and resolution.
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong analytic skills, who can see the big picture, and package up powerful insights to influence decision making. In addition, this individual should thrive in being able to independently execute and drive results and be a strong relationship builder who takes a consultative approach to assessing and meeting stakeholders' needs. The Project Analyst will:

  • Drive project activities to support AAC & partner initiatives
  • Coordinate partner contractor IDs and system access
  • Coordinate and track mandatory compliance training and annual insurance training (fraud, fair claims practices)
  • Coordinate policy and procedure updates, including operational training, implementation, and reporting
  • Review and submit partner reporting and scorecards
  • Monitor feedback, inventory, complaints, and escalations
  • Track AAC partner test findings and action plans
  • Approve insurance related transactions (insurance cancellations, premium refunds, over limit, etc.)
  • Create/review/monitor partner invoices
  • Manage project logs to track open issues and initiatives



  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with internal and external partners
  • Ability to work efficiently in fast paced environments, under pressure while managing multiple deliverables and conflicting priorities
  • Ability to build and leverage relationships with vendor partners, leaders, and business partners
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing to external partners and all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, including data validation and analysis, formula use, pivot tables and visual aids


Preferred

  • Knowledge of AXP systems, including but not limited to GSP, iVu/Monocle, CLIC
  • Project management experience or operational project support experience

• Bachelor's Degree or 2 years of work experience.
