What you will be doing
Participate in client/end client scrum calls understand user stories planned for next sprints and provide status update on current sprint Work with client project manager and understand user stories assigned to offshore development team and their priories and provide status updates on user stories assigned to offshore development team Coordination with offshore development team (IST)
Provide overview of user stories assigned to offshore and review estimates for each user story provided by team
Coordinate with end client product management team, client testers or end client testers and provide needed requirement clarifications to offshore development team
Create capacity plan for sprints and manage Jira tickets assignments or re-assignments
Provide required assistance to offshore development on defects created by QA/UAT client testing teams so that defects are closed on time and priority user stories are delivered on time
Create Build plan and review perquisites and coordinate with client release/deployment teams, DBA other teams for smooth sprint implementation
Ensure smooth release implementations
Production support
Provide production support for critical or high priority issues
Coordinate with client teams as needed to address production support issues (e.g DBA, infrastructure, NOC upstream and downstream applications etc.)
Assist end client with adhoc or reports, data fixes etc.
Identifies and implements best practices and suggests how to improve current practices.
Development - Based on bandwidth availability need to work on Jira tickets
What you bring:

  • 7+ years of design and development experience in Java, J2EE Technologies, Struts, Spring, Spring MVC, Hibernate, PL/SQL
  • Good knowledge in SQL and RDBMS, Oracle11g or later, MongoDB
  • Exposure to Rest, SOAP, web application programming
  • Good knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, Backbone.js
  • Good knowledge of web/application server - Tomcat 7
  • Experience with Scrum and Agile methodology
  • Experience with Project Management tool - JIRA
  • Knowledge of Version Control on Tortoise SVN
  • Proactive in tracking and monitoring teams tasks


Added bonus if you have:

  • Experience on AWS Cloud
  • APM Tools : VisualVM, AppDyanmics/New Relic/Datadog
  • Domain: Retail Online Business (E-COMMERRCE)
  • Experience in working with distributed team
