Job Description
FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Programmer Analyst II in Pasadena, CA to provide application software development services and technical support in a defined project. Develop program logic interfaces and reports. Analyze and modify logic in existing interfaces and reports using Oracle PL/SQL and SAP Business Objects. Code, test, debug, document, implement and maintain interfaces and reports. Maintain, test and integrate application components. Conduct planning, analysis, and forecasting activities to plan projects and tasks. Suggest technical alternatives, improve, and streamline processes and systems. Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations. Make recommendations toward the development of new code and reuse of existing code. Provide leadership and guidance to other technical professionals.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation implementing software development lifecycle, including integration of data architecture and data governance; conducting data modeling, data design, and database optimizations, including logical and physical modeling, and partitioning strategies for large tables; utilizing technologies including relational databases, including Oracle, data warehousing, OLAP, and business intelligence reporting; documenting functional and technical details on Core Releases and Add-On Projects; designing the architecture and preparing design documents for Enhancement requests; utilizing operating systems including Windows, AS400 and Linux. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in the above listed fields and two (2) years of experience in the above listed skills. Telecommuting and/or working from home is permissible. 25% travel is required.
