Job Description
FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Programmer Analyst II in Milwaukee, WI, to design, code, test, implement, maintain and support applications software that are delivered on time and within budget. Work closely with customers, business analysts and team members to understand business requirements that drive analysis and design of quality technical solutions ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies and complying with FIS architectural standards. Provide application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project. Install, configure and troubleshoots systems, software, servers and network issues in a heterogeneous environment. Provide day-to-day technical support for a hosted, web based B2B payment platform application, its server and network infrastructure, and leveraged third party applications to ensure proper operation of technology applications and equipment. Develop program logic for new applications or analyze and modify logic in existing applications. Code, test, debug, document, implement and maintain software applications. Maintain, test and integrate application components. Maintain passwords, user access, data integrity, and file system security for the application environment. Make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. Ensure system improvements are successfully implemented. Demonstrate an understanding of FIS systems and the financial services industry. Analyze requirements and translate business requirements into product designs. Write technical specifications and other forms of documentation. Suggest technical alternatives and improve/streamline processes and systems. Complete project assignments and special projects commensurate with job expectations. Conduct planning, analysis and forecasting activities to plan projects and tasks.
REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation: designing, installing, configuring and troubleshooting systems, software, servers, applications and network issues; writing NetScaler scripts; setting up new environments with Windows operating systems, IBM WebSphere Application server, and IBM HTTP server providing technical support for web based payment platform applications, servers and network infrastructures; utilizing file transfer technologies including FTPS (clients and servers) and SFTP; and working with application performance monitoring and analytical tools including Dynatrace and Splunk. Telecommuting and working from home permissible.
