Summary:
The Program Analyst will be a member of a growing digital IT team responsible for partnering with Marketing, Sales, Service, Operations, Product, and Finance to align Salesforce technical solutions with business needs supporting the transformation of our business and client digital experience. As first-in-line to business teams the Program Analyst applies a structured approach to interpret and contextualize business needs, develop specific artifacts such as business capability maps, value streams, and user stories to drive technical execution. The individual in this role must be someone who has an obsession for information, agile thinking, and agile delivery to collaborate with people of various disciplines to find unique ways to translate business requirements into technical solutions that maximize business value in existing and emerging business models. The position will work closely with business subject matter experts, architects, developers, analysts, UAT, and partners to implement the intended product functional behavior.
Responsibilities:

  • Foster a design thinking mindset that is customer-centric, solution focused, and utilizes a hands-on approach to achieve business and client success with innovative solutions.
  • Drive and facilitate discussions with business stakeholders to maintain a prioritized business capability framework across functional and organizational boundaries to translate business requirements into product backlog user stories that maximizes value and ROI.
  • Work closely with Solution Owner, technical architects, and developers to provide expert guidance to identify and recommend innovative and optimized solutions and deliver artifacts needed for end-to-end architecture and solutions.
  • Act as a liaison conveying business processes, information, and functionality needed to the digital team and technical constraints to the business by applying equal conveyance regarding business strategy and IT strategy.
  • Assist the Solution Owner with business alignment to capture KPIs against strategic enterprise goals that measure effectiveness of developed solutions and can be used to make further improvements or address performance issues.
  • Participate in governance exercises to strengthen business partnerships by communicating progress against business objectives, effectiveness against KPIs, identify new capability opportunities, and prioritize future development efforts.
  • Document and maintain an inventory of relevant business processes and workflows describing which people, resources and controls are involved in business processes.
  • Partner with business process owners to develop standards for user story writing and apply a structured methodology to elicit, organize, and translate business level and functional requirements into prioritized user stories.
  • Collaborate with business units and with technical teams to the ensure effective end-to-end user acceptance testing is done for all products and identify improvements in remediation of defects found in unit, QA, and UAT testing activities.
  • Participate in Agile Scrum teams in design, user story elaboration, estimating, planning, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Support technical leads in environmental standards, governance, code quality, performance, security and data hygiene.
  • Deliver effective presentations to key business and senior management stakeholders.
  • Any other reasonable activity required by management/leadership.


Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience supporting complex multi-disciplinary programs across businesses and portfolio of technologies.
  • 2+ years of experience delivering mission critical applications in an Agile Scrum environment.
  • BA/BS degree in information technology, business management, or equivalent


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to apply architectural principles to business solutions.
  • The ability to recognize structural issues within the organization, functional interdependencies and cross-silo redundancies.
  • Extensive experience planning and deploying both business and technology initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations.
  • Experience with of DevOps tools for Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Automated Testing.
  • Agile-oriented certifications such as Certified Scrum Master, Developer, Product Owner, or Agile Practitioner a plus
  • Understanding of Design Thinking and UX design principles a plus
