Production Management Senior Analyst
The Digital Support team focuses on improving system stability and quality by eliminating chronic and repeat incidents, minimizing their impacts on production systems through effective root cause investigation. The Production Management Consultant is responsible for day-to-day activities in the Digital portfolio including the investigation and resolution of problems, analyzing team performance metrics, building relationships, and collaborating in teams using agile practices, such as Scrum and Kanban.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for day-to-day service restoration activities including gathering information used for priority assessment of P1 to P4 priority incidents.
- Advises leads of information to support prioritization of work to meet SLA commitments.
- Communicates incidents, problems and escalation status to internal partners. Escalates issues as required.
- Leverage technical and/or business knowledge of multiple areas (technical, business, applications, etc.) in support of production management activities
- Advises product owners on enhancements to applications to maximize operational efficiency and ensure application stability
- Interacts with vendor consultants to identify solutions for optimizing operating efficiency of production systems and processes.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering or other related field, or equivalent demonstrated work experience.
- 3-5 years Platform Support experience, or comparable business and technical experience, with System Development Life Cycle knowledge and experience, or comparable methodologies.
- Ability to quickly understand the Business context of the Platform as well as the overall technical architecture.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite of Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio or other workflow/routing design tools).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail, as well as professionalism and time/task management skills; ability to establish strong working relationships.
- Ability to collaborate in a matrixed environment to achieve a shared goal
Preferred:
- Experience working in customer facing applications.
- Experience with Service Now, AppD and Splunk
- Knowledge of container and orchestration technologies like AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service).
- Experience with working in an agile delivery model.
- Knowledge of SAFe framework.
- Experience with Agile management tools like Jira OR Azure DevOps (AzDO).
- Knowledge of DevOps/Lean
- Experience in working with global teams (offshore and on shore)
