About the role: The Business Analyst is a highly analytical and data driven role. The Business Analyst will conduct research and testing to help improve processes and procedures.
About the team: The Payments Product Support team is a talented team of payments experts who will work throughout the matrix to provide a high level of customer service to our clients both internally and externally.
What will you be doing?

  • You will gather/research information to assist in problem resolution that may involve procedural changes
  • You will analyze various data points and produce summary reports
  • Find and identify root causes of problems and propose solutions that may include new systems, processes, or procedures and then present findings to various levels of leadership
  • Troubleshoots problems with software applications and recommends corrective action.
  • Provides in-depth product support to FIS clients by resolving incoming inquiries and providing analytical support as needed by the retention team
  • Provides deep product knowledge
  • Assist in resolving customer concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance or product application or compatibility matters
  • Documents customer information and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and product development
  • Recreates client issues in test environment, Identifies/documents how applications and systems interact to support business processes
  • Resolves client concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance or product application or compatibility matters
  • Interpersonal skills and technical product knowledge and expertise are critical to responding to daily Client-centric activities
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.


What you will need:

  • 3 - 5+ years analyst experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. (High school diploma or GED for job levels I and II.)
  • Prior card processing knowledge; FIS debit and/or credit processing experiences a plus
  • Documents client information and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and product development
  • Knowledge of FIS products and services a plus
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge in programming, business analysis or implementation of software products.
  • Strong MS Office Skills- (strong Excel skills crucial)
  • Organizational and time management skills required
  • Self-starter with proven ability to work independently
  • Extremely comfortable working with computers and a variety of applications
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Strong problem solving skills


Added bonus if you have:

  • Data warehousing skills, and other analytic tools a plus
  • FIS debit and/or credit processing experiences a plus
  • Visio or other process mapping tools
