About the job
Red Hat's Marketing Technology & Operations team is seeking a rising Product Manager (Adobe Target and Experience Manager) to join us in Raleigh, NC or remotely. In this role, you will advance the sophistication of Red Hat's digital marketing practice by crafting a product strategy that support the marketing organization's purpose and goals. In this role, you will:

  • Articulate a product vision / positioning that demonstrates how our Adobe technology is pivotal to Red Hat accomplishing its vision for serving its customers a best-in-class customer experience.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand team needs, and develop a product roadmap that facilitates maximum utility of product capabilities by the marketing organization.
  • Provide the technical expertise necessary to develop action plans for successfully developing your products and integrating them in CMS infrastructure plans for achieving 'personalization at scale.'


You will also operate as an Adobe subject matter expert, informed in best practice / emerging use cases with respect to your products and establishing technical/power user enablement programs that continuously enhance our utilization of marketing technology to support company goals.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define a product, roadmap, and growth opportunities. Work with internal and external contacts to analyze needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals. Helps stakeholders understand the strategy's model, value and value proposition.
  • Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI. Maintain a product backlog in keeping with agile/scrum best practices and trends and according to business value or ROI.
  • Accountable for delivery of product capabilities, communicating releases to business partners with positioning / messaging that maximizes adoption and utilization of the product..
  • Resolution of product technical & implementation issues in a timely manner, and support / drive issue escalations where required to enable rapid delivery.
  • Possess deep knowledge of product capabilities and best practice utilization, as well as a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies.
  • Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally, and as primary SME for queries related to the product. Consultation with business leaders on a wide range of issues related to the strategy formulation process and related projects.
  • A leader of the team: manages relationships with an ecosystem of stakeholders across the Marketing organization. Represents the team with stakeholders.
  • A member of the team: works closely with product management and senior management in order to create a product that fits the company portfolio.


What you will bring

  • Proven experience in a dynamic product or platform management role, defining and delivering on a finely-tuned, strategic roadmap
  • Demonstrable technical, subject matter expertise with Adobe Target (preference for candidates with Adobe Experience Manager expertise, as well)
  • Highly effective cross-functional team management
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams, simultaneously (effective time management, prioritization, and expectation setting with stakeholders)
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Interpersonal skills, and developing relationships with stakeholders and team members
  • Must have ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic, demanding, and fluid environment and contribute a positive attitude and approach to projects
