The Procure-to-Pay Lead Analyst will be accountable for the end-to-end payment process of invoices mapped to contracts, POs and non-PO catalog invoices. The Procure-to-Pay Lead Analyst will leverage internally developed best practices, knowledge, structure of related contracts, as well as Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes in order to operationalize contract pricing terms in Ariba Source-to-Contract (S2C).

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with internal Sourcing customers in development of Ariba term sheets.
  • Provide internal Sourcing customers with high level overview of buying channels options.
  • Influence decision on use of release vs non-release buying channel based on commodity and services under contract.
  • Serve as liaison to internal business customer including Tax, AP, Buyer Team and key power users on downstream functionality of term sheets.
  • Collaborate with GPTPM, SI Partners, Ariba IT Support and Supplier Enablement to identify, resolve invoice reconciliation approval and related issues in Ariba.
  • Organize, prioritize, assign and support day to day work assigned to offshore team in creation of contract term sheets for contracts authored using Ariba.
  • Monitor day to day progress while providing subject matter expertise to offshore team members.
  • Coach offshore team to ensure proper capture of contract pricing terms.
  • Develop and deliver of data analytics and work performance metrics for contract term work.
  • Work open issues to resolution escalate aging outstanding issues to Leadership Team when appropriate.
  • Develop and execute test scenarios in Ariba test to assist in problem resolution and going deeper in Ariba S2C.
  • Support larger projects as required along with small and medium sized Procure-to-Pay projects and cross-functional project team initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Cigna stakeholders to determine term sheet requirements.
  • Keep up to date on new learnings and best practices in the ongoing refinement of business processes



Expected Results / Outcomes:

  • Week-over-week progress reporting on term sheet work.
  • Effective time and priority management of project deliverables.
  • Drive appropriate measures into engagements to ensure quality delivery
  • Support the delivery best practices that will result in value add to the Sourcing and Third Party Management processes.
  • Assist in educating Sourcing stakeholders on term sheet basics and buying channel fundamental use of release and non-release based term sheets.



Functional Responsibilities:

  • Review, revise and edit contract term sheets in Ariba.
  • Develop, publish and revise Ariba process documentation and Job Aids on core work.
  • Assist offshore team in publishing contract term sheet.
  • Serve as QC escalation path for the offshore team in completion of contract term sheets.
  • Assist in developing related skills of the offshore team.
  • Provide analysis and support in decision making geared toward process improvement.
  • Drive internal and external adherence to Cigna's Procure-to-Pay policies and processes.
  • Establish role as a valued business advisor to Procure-to-Pay stakeholders and contract negotiators.



Qualifications:

  • BA / BS in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement/Sourcing, Project Management, Marketing, Operations, or related field.
  • Strong listening skills.
  • Excellent skills in MS Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong customer focus experience in dealing with internal customers and stakeholders
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with advance use of Excel.
  • Strong time management skills; highly organized and detailed oriented.
  • Fundamental understanding of terms and conditions and pricing structures contained in Cigna Master, Sub, and Standalone level agreements.
  • Strong analytical, cross-functional communication skills, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement principles, theories and processes.
  • Strong communication, facilitation solid ability to lead, influence and motivate others in day to day operations.
  • Cross-functional business team environment experience preferred with an ability to foster working relationships with the team and across internal departments.



For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $57,600 - $96,000, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
