Job Description The Wealth Management Global Business Intelligence team is focused on using data to identify and optimize sales productivity and business development efforts as well as drive development of marketing / business strategies.
The Data Governance & Delivery Management role is a newly created leadership position within Global Business Intelligence focused on managing the information flow including integrity, efficiency and availability of data, improving processes, managing risk and ensuring the soundness of JP Morgan Private Bank analytical and marketing initiatives, evaluating various methods of identifying target audiences and marketing strategies for compliance soundness helping shape strategies for the Wealth Management business (U.S. and International Private Bank). In addition, continually improve and evolve the insights delivered to the business. The team works closely with sales management, advisors, marketing and technology teams to drive these initiatives.
We are looking for an outstanding leader who can apply creativity, rigor and leadership abilities to build a robust global team that provides the oversite and delivery of data to be consumable by the business (i.e., Sales, Marketing and Product teams), increasing overall ROI.
Functional Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing capabilities and identify process improvements and quality control gaps and opportunities, especially as they pertain to improved efficiency and reduced opportunity for error
  • Become familiar with audience targeting for all ongoing JP Morgan targeted campaigns
  • Recommend ongoing process improvements to the audience targeting execution team
  • Manage multiple SFTP connections, for secure transfer of marketing files from Chase to approved Vendors
  • Assist with development, testing, code review, and ongoing maintenance of automated campaign code
  • Work collaboratively with analytical teams, management, sales and technology to formulate a data strategy and roadmap which is aligned with the organization's data strategy and vision.
  • Represent the Business Intelligence Team in on Data Use calls with Legal and Compliance representatives
  • Translate requirements to detailed functional specifications for the technology development team, bridging the technology and business organizations
  • Strong practitioner of the Agile methodology
  • Support stakeholder and project management initiatives to deliver information management and business intelligence strategies across sales, marketing, and technology businesses
  • Working with technology teams to create a center of excellence around visualization strategies
  • Design and implement solutions including executive reports, dashboards and data quality tools
  • Standard Reporting and Ad hoc support responsibilities across the business channels, product and management


Qualifications:

  • MBA or degree in Statistics, Math, Science, Engineering or other quantitative-focused field preferred
  • 6+ years' experience managing an analytical team and working with large consumer datasets and third party data sources
  • Previous experience in financial services industry and/or wealth management a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communicator (written and verbal) with strong interpersonal skills

  • Coding experience (Python, R, SQL)
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience presenting to senior management teams
  • Highly proficiency with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and/or other common project and business communication software
  • Resiliency and perseverance to solve data and analytical obstacles
