Job Description:

The Role

We are seeking a Principal Systems Analyst who thrives in an environment using innovative technologies to support and develop our robust recordkeeping platforms and join in our digital transformation journey. Member of an agile engineering scrum team working in a fast-paced environment, closely collaborating with product, business / operational teams, architecture, and other engineering teams.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in business critical, enterprise-wide applications
  • Ability to perform deep dive analysis for a Mainframe Cobol/DB2/VSAM System
  • Experience in communicating technical needs and capabilities to non-technical team members, product owners, and partners
  • Robust critical thinking skills coupled with a desire for growth, to learn and to engage with peers in technical and design discussions
  • Publishes clear, concise, and detailed documentation
  • Passion to provide guidance on standard methodologies and mentoring support to the other Systems Analysts within the team
  • Experience collaborating in a team environment to develop, deploy, and support key applications and features
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, allowing you to interview Business partners to understand project objectives, use cases and requirements
  • Strong analytical skills, enabling you to research, document and review existing systems and recommend designs for achieving requirements for self-contained projects within a larger program
  • Proficiency in writing of user requirements, updating stories and supporting documentation
  • Ability to dig into code and documentation artifacts to diagram business processes and system workflows
  • Expertise in collaboration and conveying technical concepts with internal customers, technical team members, and/or other technical contributors across the organization
  • Strong organizational skills coupled with effective written and verbal communication skills
