The Red Hat Information Technology (IT) team is looking for a Principal Salesforce Business Systems Analyst to join us. In this role, you will work as part of the Projects and Integrations team specializing in Salesforce.com (SFDC), integrations, and data analysis. You will be focusing on process documentation and integrations relating to the Sales, Marketing, Finance, Order Management, and IT teams. Your stakeholders will look to you to provide technical insight and guidance as a customer relationship management (CRM) expert. You will work on all aspects of data migration, validation, and hygiene. As a Principal Salesforce Business Systems Analyst, you'll need to be a dynamic team member, collaborative and detail-oriented. You'll need to have a deep understanding of the need for system integrations and data analysis, specifically the nuances of cross-functional data. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do
- Be responsible for SFDC system implementation and configuration
- Interpret and refine requirements and user stories
- Explore solutions to issues using system base functionality, or, as a last resort, customization
- Understand the data integration and consumption patterns between various systems
- Assess change impact and guide impact analysis and project estimation activities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for supported business systems and perform functional and second-level technical support as needed
- Work directly with SFDC technical account management on proactive monitoring and system health
- Build and maintain documentation of implemented flows versus conceived and original design
- Partner with other business analysts and use acquired knowledge of SFDC and related applications to analyze current business processes, suggest improvements, and participate in the implementation of new functionalities
- Work with the internal readiness and training team to ensure that new functionalities are clearly documented and reflected accurately in training materials
What you will bring
- 5+ years of experience implementing, configuring, and administering the SFDC application
- 7+ years of experience in a business systems analyst or equivalent role working with complex application development projects, preferably in a global organization
- Solid analytical skills, particularly in the areas of data analysis and system integration; experience with middleware integration applications like Red Hat Application Services, Oracle E-Business suite, or Informatica is a plus
- Experience evaluating, selecting, implementing, and integrating technology tools into SFDC, e.g., Conga or Apttus, Zuora, or DocuSign
- Experience working with SFDC in a large organization
- Effectively communicating with stakeholders across different cross-functional teams; excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in information systems or similar, or equivalent business experience
- SFDC administrator certification is a plus
