We are looking for an experienced data professional to help lead our strategic analytical efforts across Government Programs Member Experience. Using complex data analytics to help the organization understand satisfaction and loyalty - producing and presenting insights that fuel (and enable our ability to measure) improvement efforts.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Lead efforts to help us better understand member loyalty and satisfaction using advanced analytical techniques across large structured and unstructured data sets
  • Identify, summarize, and communicate biggest drivers of satisfactions and loyalty to stakeholders and strategy teams
  • Propose recommendations/strategies to address drivers and solve for member pain points
  • Help to define and execute reporting, analysis, and overall communication strategy
  • Partner with data and software engineers to build and manage reliable data sets, reporting, a dashboard to monitor and analyze critical matrices
  • Build solid relationships with key partners across the business and broader analytics community
  • Be a thought leader to our key partners and influence decision-making/strategy through the storytelling of recommendations, analysis, and experiment results

Required Qualifications:
  • Degree in a quantitative field such as Math, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience with SAS, R, Python, SQL or preferred programming language
  • 5+ years of experience conducting statistical analysis and modeling including manipulating data across multiple platforms, extracting insights and presenting solutions (NOT just application testing, ETL or BI development)
  • Experience with "big data" environments
  • Professional experience with statistical and predictive modeling
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and / or Tableau, experience with data warehouses

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in a data-related field
  • Direct Government Programs, UnitedHealthcare, or other related healthcare experience
  • Experience in the Net Promoter System (NPS)
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with and influence all levels of an organization, regardless of direct authority. Success working closely with executive leadership
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to form meaningful relationships with teammates and stakeholders
  • Ability to translate complex data and analytic concepts into simple ideas and concepts for communication to executive leadership
  • Mature data-visualization skills
  • Passionate about using data to tell stories and drive action
  • Self-Starter who is motivated and always looking for proactive ways to drive improvement with their own work and that of our team & organization
  • Exhibits a high degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness and works well with ambiguity
  • Excellent critical thinking skills including problem solving, decision making and analysis
  • A fearless and positive attitude

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $97,300 to $176,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900.
