As Principal Data Analyst, you will set strategy and assure quality for analytics within Clinical Affordability, Utilization Management, and Payment Integrity. You'll have the opportunity to lead a talented team of data analysts, and work with both business leaders and clinical teams co-creating innovative solutions for our national network of clients.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive data strategy and leverage acquired subject matter expertise to identify and inform market opportunities
  • Complete complex data analyses, and direct process improvement data deep dives, identify and execute on new opportunities for increases in efficiencies and performance
  • Lead Clinical Affordability and Utilization Management work in the data space
  • Propose and develop creative analytic solutions to measure performance
  • Present to clients and gain buy-in to adopt new products/services/programs

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
  • 7+ years of business intelligence and enterprise data warehouse experience (mastery of SQL is required, experience with Snowflake a plus)
  • 7+ years of experience gathering and exploring data from multiple sources using a scripting language (Python, R, SAS, etc.)
  • 7+ years of experience in reporting, analysis and/or data management
  • 4+ years of experience with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, DOMO, etc.)
  • Experience working with, and leading, high-performing remote teams
  • Interest in working in a consulting environment and engaging in team-based problem solving
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to demonstrate key successes on business solutions derived from analysis and deep learning
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Experience in managed care / health insurance industry
  • Exposure to laboratory, radiology, site of service
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $97,300 to $176,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900.
