Job DescriptionTITLE: Principal Business Analyst
DUTIES: DFS Services LLC seeks Principal Business Analyst in New Albany, OH to formulate systems scope and objectives relative to the organization’s business plan and industry requirements. Provide technical guidance concerning the business implications of the application of various systems. Provide technical consulting on complex projects. Responsible for analysis and design of business systems. Typical steps include diagnosis of need and the development of a related requirement specification, system development planning, creation and implementation of a test plan, on-going project oversight during the development phase and comparison of the solution delivered with the original specifications. Act as an intermediary between IT and internal clients. Apply specialized professional knowledge and techniques gained through advanced study to develop solutions, as appropriate, to analytical, commercial, operational, process, or technological problems. Lead projects of inter-departmental teams (mentor to more junior roles). Enhance, optimize, and automate existing processes and ongoing business processes. Promote a risk aware culture to ensure efficient and effective compliance management standards and processes.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, Business, or related and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: integrating APIs (JSON) with external Clients; developing systems with Java; executing Web Design with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery; working with SOAP UI and POSTMAN; working with defect tracking tools, including Quality Center; performing functional testing; and working with Agile methodology, developer portals, and sandbox environments.
