PostgreSQL Database Administrator, Senior
Key Role:

Develop and maintain production-ready data models by integrating multiple sources of data while also working with business and technical teams to understand business strategy and objectives, gather information, and ensure business requirements are being fulfilled throughout the entire data and analytics lifecycle. Design, implement, manage, and modernize PostgreSQL and other NoSQL databases and data delivery systems and transform it into analysis and reporting. Support integration of PostgreSQL with Pega.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with PostgreSQL support in an enterprise environment
• Experience with PostgreSQL server database management such as creating, administering, managing and tuning PostgreSQL database instances
• Experience with creating service accounts, PostgreSQL binary installation, establishing the backup methodology, and application integration testing
• Experience with performance issue troubleshooting and tuning
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with PostgreSQL database migration techniques
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services, Relational Database Services, and Key Management Services
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• PostgreSQL Database Administration Certification
